I am a wife of 11 years, and a mother of 4 amazing children. I have enjoyed photography since I can remember, but really started to learn more about it when I had my first child (almost 16 years ago *gasp*). Although I don't do as much portrait photography at the moment, I am wanting to learn more in the near future and possibly open my own photography studio. For now, I completely enjoy my time photographing the landscapes and wildlife out here in beautiful Alaska.

We moved here to Alaska in May, 2006, on military orders. We were only supposed to stay for 4 years and then our military time here would be over. At that point, we supposed to get orders somewhere else, but with a lot of thought, and a lot of consideration, we decided to hang up the military uniform and stay here in Alaska. Our whole family just absolutely loves it out here and we just couldn't see ourselves living anywhere else. My husband is now a civillian firefighter here in Alaska, and I will continue my photography and maybe even start more new adventures. We are so excited to stay here and become true Alaskan residents!
