I am a wife of 11 years, and a mother of 4 amazing children. I have enjoyed photography since I can remember, but really started to learn more about it when I had my first child (almost 16 years ago *gasp*). Although I don't do as much portrait photography at the moment, I am wanting to learn more in the near future and possibly open my own photography studio. For now, I completely enjoy my time photographing the landscapes and wildlife out here in beautiful Alaska. We moved here in May 2006 on military orders. We were only supposed to stay for 4 years and then our military time here would be over and we supposed to get orders somewhere else, but with a lot of thought, and a lot of consideration, we decided to hang up the military uniform and stay here in Alaska. My husband will be a civillian firefighter here in Alaska, and I will continue my photography and maybe even start more new adventures. We are so excited to stay here and become true Alaskan residents!
